Ruby one month old

Painted the piggies on our sweet one month old! Looked more like a painted nightmare on her toes because she kept on moving, but I did my best. It is fun to do it! We continue to love dressing her up in her clothing with matching hair bows and snuggling up on her.

Random Feb pics

Another busy month! We got a surprise rainstorm and of course the boys had to run outside to the park in their flip flops and white tshirts. The boys accidentally flooded the upstairs bathroom by leaving the shower curtain open too many times. We discovered it as the water was dripping outside through a light fixture! We spent our tax refund money replacing the tile, installing a shower door and redoing the sides of the walls. It has a nice open feel to it now and the boys like it. I took a picture of my toes in flip flops one afternoon at the park...when I was watching extra kids and all 4 of them went poop in the bushes that afternoon!
We planted some carrots in our garden (never grew!). I have been doing my hairbows and flowers for Ms Ruby and it's been fun to use my creative side.  Levi loves to cut up his own hard boiled egg and put salt on it (or squish it all over the counter). I am still struggling with my sweet cravings while I am nursing and trying to lose my post baby weight. Signs like Oreo Cookie Dough and Peanut Butter chocolate spreads really call my name! On a good day, I will make a green smoothie.
Wesley got his warts removed from his chin, a costly out of pocket surgery, and he still has a big scar from it unfortunately. We try to get him to keep a scar patch on it, but that is a hard thing to do for an active and sweaty 10 year old who loves basketball! He did go to a HS playoff game with Jared for a date too. Wes also won a drawing contest for his school field day!
Austin is a lucky little boy. He won (again) another stuffed animal out of the claw machine, this time the purple Minion. He also continues to make super heroes for rainbow loom, and small bracelets for Ruby. He will often take selfies (this time bubble gum bubble) that I later find on my camera.
We went to church as an entire family, and I snapped a great pic of Ruby all dressed up! It is an undertaking getting all 5 ready for 9am church ALONE while Jared is in bishopric meetings. I love her big hairbows. Happy Valentine's Day too...heart pancakes, basketballs, sugar free chocolates (Wesley's sugar fast), chips, movies, etc. Just making a memory for my boys amidst sleepless nights!
