random March

Ruby is stubborn, sassy and independent! She loves to hide under my bed with lotions, chapsticks (that she will eat), hair gel and any candy she can find. She demands that I read her books, take her potty 19 x's a day while watching Videos on my phone, and follows me everywhere.i.go.all.day.long. She keeps me very busy. She loves cucumbers, asks for lettuce, eats fruit from the bowl (plums and oranges or grapes from the fridge), and loves rice cakes. Wes participated in the City Center Temple Cultural celebration and really had a good experience there, with all the practices and being around other youth. What a wonderful memory for him. Jared and I were able to watch him perform live at the Marriott Center. I got my hair colored "ombre" from my good friend Sarah, something fun and new for my post baby self.   Teaching the boys how to iron, Levi learning how to ride a bike, changing diapers, playing with friends outside and spending time with Abu on the weekends.

Broadcasts

The Provo City Center temple was dedicated this month. We were able to attend the dedications in the state of Utah and then we walked to the temple to enjoy the feelings (the entire neighborhood was there!) Walking around those grounds feel so sacred and special, we are so lucky to be so close. My mom and I were also able to attend the General RS broadcast in person with my cousin Megan and Cedi Christensen. It was tricky with Rex, my mom was able to find a grandpa guy to watch him during the broadcast there in downtown SLC. Felt great to be in the presence of so many sisters! Things like this make my heart full of love for my mom and having another woman in my life to share memories (since I often feel so outnumbered).

Easter

Easter snuck up on us quickly this year! With St Patty's day in the same month, General Conf and Spring Break near approaching...a lot was going on! Thank goodness for on line shopping to buy my kids some new Easter clothing without having to haul my newborn around. Isaac finally got his basketball he had been begging for (his got a screw in it during bump out), we got the boys sugar cereals (that Levi secretively ate almost all of them), chips, gum and matching Nike hats. We did a waffle bar with whipped cream, real maple syrup and strawberries. The boys facetimed pipa and grandma Wilson and we also enjoyed a nice little devotional about Christ/Easter before church with Abu. Everyone looked really nice for church, and despite their complaining...we got a few nice pics.
