Phoenix Zoo

I decided to play hooky with my boys from school and take them to the Phx Zoo! Levi was going on a field trip, so we made a date out of it. Levi still talks about the big tiger he saw and asks me what eats "fruit leathers? Cheese? Meat?" (like he learned at the zoo about animals and diets). I felt like a big mama with 5 kids in tow all on my own!  The goat selfie was my favorite. 

Adrienne time

It's great to get out and have some Adrienne time once in a while. Hiking, visiting with other babies, daddy daughter dates and matching at church. 

hip hop

Austin and Wes have been doing a hip hop class through Spotlight Entertainment for the last few weeks. They had their first performance to the song "Happy." They are learning some confidence and having fun learning how to dance a little. 

Austin's 9th Birthday

Happy 9th birthday sweet boy! He woke up to a fun birthday breakfast with the Elders (Moore and Hall); pancakes, caramel syrup and homemade orange julius.  He was most happy with his minion doll. He came home and said, "This is the worst birthday ever." It pretty much was b/c we had move the NIGHT before! It was chaotic at our house! So, we threw up some streamers and balloons (of course the boys fought over them) and I did a last minute "party" with two friends. They came over, had popcorn (since Austin is on a sugar fast no birthday cake for him), ran around Marley Park in the dark while it sprinkled and watched a movie till late. Even though it wasn't a huge bash, we hoped our best to help him feel loved! 

Move #17

We did it again. We moved. We are renting a cute cozy townhouse in Marley Park. We sold our gorgeous home for 295K (the renters have changed all of it from landscaping to paint after we worked so hard on it!), and now we are renters once again. Feels good to be debt free. It was exhausting and crazy to move...couldn't find my own workout clothes the morning I had to teach a cycle class the day we moved, the boys had to share my toothbrush for 3 days, I had my hair in a bun for a week, and I even threw a birthday party for Austin the following day. It was completely crazy madness, as it always is when you move with a large family. Boys did their part to pack up their boxes and I did the rest of the organizing and cleaning. Grateful for a few hot dinners from my VT Brionna White and it feels great to simplify!
