Random March pics

I can feel the clock ticking down to going back to school and so I tried my best to get organized, drop a few more lbs and be ready for my busier work schedule! This included re-organizing my pantry and stocking up on TONS of cereals, growing my eyelashes again, and busting out piano lessons for the boys again. More pics; Isaac is a great helper with the vacuum and tells me everyday how he is "on green and got a treasure." I appreciate him working so hard! Levi also tries to help out, even if he is naked. The Ashton's have been around a bit more, so my boys have enjoyed their company for basketball or rainbow loom.
Isaac did his first season of t-ball and loved it! I am not sure if enjoyed being with his friends more or enjoying the snack and drink (which he would share with Levi). Wesley also rocked his season of kid-pitch for the Mets. On the first game, after a crazy day at work and homework and dinner group, Jared called me up as i was loading up my crew into the car and asked me to bring the team game snack! what?! Bad timing! The look on my face says it all (notice my "bruise" on my neck).  Levi also likes to "feed" Ruby's baby bear when I am nursing too.
Wes and Austin continue to excel in school, getting all A's at the MP awards assembly. Austin also got selected to show off his technology talents for the District. We also got in a tiny swim  and BBQ with the Kaivo's before they went back to WA for the summer. We had ANOTHER infestation of bees in our home this year! We decided to go ahead and kill them vs saving them. Bug guy drilled into the stucco and smoked about 40,000 bees from around Ruby's room. Good riddance! Jared did a seminar for Merrill Lynch at the Phoenix homeshow (brought back memories to my DirectBuy days). We also did St Patrick's day with a treasure hunt from Wesley and green pancakes. My two older boys are aware of the real leprachan, but were good sports ;)
I also had a great playdate luncheon a few times with Lindsey McMullin. I love the snapshot image of what our lives are like right now; lots of kids! We sneak in conversations about motherhood and life over grilled chicken and salads (and spoonfuls of cookie spread or old Easter candy) while the kids spill things and cry for more. Grateful for friends with little ones like me that I can visit and let my kids play with their things!

Ruby Joy 2 months

I don't think it's possible, but Ruby keeps on getting cuter and sweeter and more awesome each day. I just wish I could eat those cheeks up! She is SO alert, and has been since she was born, very aware of her surroundings. I am sure she is mostly just trying to figure out what all the madness is about with the boys running circles around her, fighting to hold her and kiss her. You can see several times where Levi is crying next to her, those are the moments when I am nursing and can't even have a few minutes of solitude without someone ELSE on top of me! We LOVE her sweet smiles and coos and baby fists that pump with joy. She is slowly discovering her fingers, but is quite happy with the binkie still. I try and get her to do photo shoots with the other babies at church in the mother's lounge too.  I love her Ruby red dress and tried every Target to find a bigger size for her to wear, but she only wore it 2x's before it was too small.  My favorite picture is at Costco when I am about to nurse her in the gross food court tables. She looks up at me says, "mama? you gonna give a milkshake?" Love her!
