Halloween

Halloween 2015! With this prego belly, I decided to do the Juno movie, and a few people even recognized us! The boys rotate between vampire, dead soldier, athletes, super heroes and ninja every year (whatever we have on hand and can create). The weather was amazing this year! No jackets or coats needed. Jared took an hour off from studying to stroll through the neighborhood with us. Shelley Lamb and I stayed together (even doing the downtown section during the day). I was starving (forgot to eat dinner in all the rush to get outside), so I was SO grateful when we came across some people having a Halloween potluck party! You know I ate a bunch of chili! Sunday morning I came home from Ward Council to the kids dividing up the candy on the floor while Jared took a cat nap, that was cute. We gave up all but 15 pieces of candy to the local dentist for a toy.

BYU games

Taking advantage of the Student Games pass (ROC), we have all been taking turns going to football games. The student sections are always the most exciting, loud and entertaining. If the games are late, then Jared takes the older boys. If it's on a Saturday, I take kids while Jared studies. Cougar Tails are a must and the boys always ask for them. If it's a blowout, we will move down to better seats, high five the cheerleaders passing and enjoy the comfy chairs. There's such a great spirit of enthusiasm in the LaVell Edwards stadium, we love all of it.

Daddy time

We all crave a little daddy time! This semester, Jared and I have been doing lunch dates every Tuesday. We find a place on campus, sometimes meet at home or go to the Cannon center. Ruby loves seeing him, saying "BIU" when we get near the campus and calling out "Daddy" as we drive. He and I also went to the David Archuleta Christmas concert at the Marriot center, that was cool (even if I had to sit in the bleachers with my large belly), and we got ice cream afterwards. It's great being able to leave the older boys in charge of the younger kids if we are gone for a few hours here in town. Jared also took the three older boys out to see Jurassic World at the dollar theatre. The boys all got dressed up to go out with dad, that was cute.

Random October

Highlights of this month: Isaac has a bike ride playdate with a friend, volunteering in Austin's classroom, 6 months prego, mommy date with Isaac and taking pics in the booth, eating dinner alone during a priesthood conf night (not cool, couldn't find the other MPA wives), Ruby potty training and getting help from her brothers (I love her bum in leggings!), announcing it's a BOY with blue cupcakes, piggy tails for Ruby, playing with VanZyverden puppies, Ruby's outfits and boots, Austin's scratched up face (putting Ruby over the fence and fell!), longboarding to school, new City Creek Provo temple, speaking at Stake Conference, Levi being mischievous with messes (Ruby too) and the boys earning money from our neighbor with their landscaping!
