The Boogyman

Growing up I never really thought that the Boogyman existed. So why, now that I am a grown woman, do I believe in him? I am alone with Austin for the weekend and I am scared of the dark! Last night I turned on all of the exterior and interior lights, crawled into Wesley's bed (heaven forbid that something happens to Austin and so I figured I might as well sleep in the same room!), and then went beyond crazy...I locked the doors leading inside the bedroom in case someone tried to break in and get us! Estoy loca? Crazy girl?

Hopefully there are more people out there that are also afraid of the dark! Tonight I will put my dog Wrangler on watch and hopefully he can protect me from those night sounds...

Who wants to build a house??? I DON'T

In AZ the market was hopping and bopping. So, we decided to build a house....this was a year 1/2 ago and now that market has completely DIED for the custom home building family. We have had nothing but trauma, drama and upset tummies from all of the mess! Not to mention that we are going to court to sue our General Contractor for misuse of funds, breech of contract...and most recently we found TERMITES in our brand new home! This has not been a dream experience for either Jared nor I. We will think twice about building a home...especially now that we are trying to sell it. We have lots of people look at it, but still no takers. We even did our own "2 days Auction" last weekend where we had a few people bid on the house, unfortunately all were ridiculously LOW bids....

So, we are back to square one...back to the drawing board as to how to sell our home! With 80 signs up around our city you'd think we would've sold it by now! Keep those fingers crossed for us...and let's hope that those termites get taken care of for the new owners.

Despite it all, we do have a beautiful home.

The scoop

I have been waiting for my teaching school year to be over until I finally started my own Wilson Crazy Family Adventure blog....so, here we go!

People always ask what is our latest status since we are "on the move" almost all the time. Well, we are waiting to move to El Paso, TX (sometime in the next few weeks??? Waiting also for our house to sell??? Miserablely hard here in AZ to sell anything!!!)....this will be move #11 for us in our 4.75 years of marriage...but, who's counting?

Jared is off this weekend with Wesley in a camping adventure. Plenty of fun for any 3-year-old, and Jared got his motorcycle license for Father's Day so he could be a ruffian and hang with the rest of the Harley Davidson's motorists. That leaves me with Austin here in the 113 degree weather for the weekend. Not too bad considering we have been shopping, swimming, to the gym, and I even took a well needed nap!

I look forward to posting things here at least once a week. And since I was an English teacher this last year, I have learned even more about the importance of writing things down and letting your creativity side flourish! I may not be the best writer, but I look forward to keeping up with my other mama's out there...since we seem to be the only ones who even keep blogs!! (Who knows where the dads are???)
