What a great girls weekend! Somehow, Leslie Boley, April Ashton and I were able to swing leaving our families for a weekend to go visit our new-mama-for-the-5th-time BFF Arianne Pearce in San Antonio, Texas. It was no easy task; April being 7 months prego, Leslie leaving her hubby with 4 boys, and me leaving my students in the hands of a substitute! We left late Wed. evening, and stayed until Sunday morning.
Her sweet 4-week-old Maleah was so sweet and we all were enjoying her newborn coos, stretches, burps, and cuddles.
The four days flew by as we stayed up late every night chit chatting, eating Arianne's baked goodies, time away from our own children to unwind and relax, shopping, eating some more, and of course just being together.
The first thing on our list...
Eat cookie dough together! LOL
