My older boys had bad attitudes about going to the temple, and I couldn't get them to smile for a picture at all! For the second year in a row, Austin and Wes started chasing each other/ fighting in the parking lot, which led them both to time outs...the crazy boys couldn't stay reverent! You can see how happy Levi was for me to not be carrying him. We let Wes and Blake stay behind with sleeping babies in the cars while we hung out and played with snails on the temple grounds. So grateful for a creative Austin who led the others to discover more info about snails and we googled more info about them as we waited for Jared to finish initiatories. After he was done, we took pics and then Lindsey and I did a session while the men took all the kids to lunch/shopping. The cafeteria food was below average, but the temple experience was beautiful inside; fresh, bright, pure, happy and tall!
