Hiking White Tank Mountains

My very pregnant friend Shelly Vanzyverden and I wanted to do something fun for the last day of Spring Break (this was after an emotional week for me where I was sad that I couldn't afford to do more "events" for the boys; movies in the theatres, going out to eat, mini family vacations to Mexico or playdates with friends). I tried to make it happen, but financially we were stuck. Thanks goodness for the White Tanks! We had great weather, otter pops and apples, a small waterfall to hike to and friends. The boys especially loved the park and sandpits that they created afterwards.
