Chopping Wood

We headed up the mountain to Eagar, AZ for a Wilson family weekend...chopping wood! I did not have any idea what that really meant, so morning of, I was dressed up with earrings and make up. I should know by now to NOT go up to Round Valley with those expectations. It is "camping" when we are up there, and this was no exception.

The boys had a blast. Lots of mud, hard labor, playing with cousins, staying up late eating milk shakes with pipa and not getting enough sleep. Levi stayed asleep in the car or on my lap, which was perfect since it was a hands on project. Potty training for Isaac was not successful, but we did our best in the open air.

The weather was perfect, especially up in the forests where we got the wood.

After the weekend was over, we spent the day swimming back at our house and celebrating the "summer birthdays" for the cousins. We even got a family picture with EVERYONE!

Priorites

I always wonder why "new" mom's don't post more pics of their newborns? Now I remember...There is NO TIME FOR ANYTHING... it's all a juggling act!

Where are my Priorities!

It is my priority to take pictures, but has taken 3 weeks to actually upload them to the computer, edit, save and then put onto a blog.

Don't have time to blog, despite all the emotions running in my head.

There are things I WANT to do, but then there are things I HAVE to do.

Priorities:
* Make Jared's lunch/kids snacks vs. eat breakfast
* Get dressed and make it to the gym vs. put on make up or do my hair
*Take cat naps after lunch vs. folding my laundry
*Check facebook for a sanity break vs. reading scriptures (guilty, I know!)
* Make dinner vs. menu planning on line ( I want to do that!)
*Teach piano vs. take kids swimming
*Sit down with kids to do homework; reading sight words or math vs. watching Oprah (can't remember the last time that happened)
*Snuggle with a sweaty Levi on my chest vs. putting him in the swing so I can dust.
*Do work for ACA vs. Blog

The list goes on and on and on.

Life. Will. Slow. Down.

Maybe when I am a grandma.
