Memorial Day

Had a great Memorial BBQ weekend with the Ashton's, Kaycee Molina (Austin prepared his favorite breakfast for her and I loved doing her nails and hair all week) and Diane/Larry Kaivo. Despite the infestation of flies, the weather was nice and food tasty. Wesley loves to play "sports" while swimming with balls, racing, diving or games. Austin loves to be wherever Levi is. Isaac loves to jump off of the edges into my arms, we are hoping to teach him to swim this year. Isaac is especially tan after just 3 swim days! Sure do love having neighbor's so close by to celebrate!

Wesley's achievements

Wesley did a lot this month!
Auditioned for the Marley Park talent show and made it. 15 out of 60 were selected. He played a piano duet with me, "Star Wars." He was nervous, and although it was a digital piano, it sounded great. Practices were hard to get to in between baseball games, but we managed and came out on top. Pipa, Grandma Wilson and Grandma Lynch also drove down.

Spring piano recital with friends.

Finished up baseball season with Austin and dad as coach.

Was awarded his first Boy Scout (Wolf) badge; bobcat. He is now officially in scouts!

Really proud of my boy. I keep asking him, "What happened to my little boy? Bajaste cama?"

Austin Andrew

My sweet, intelligent, detail oriented, hands on, funny, high spirited, creative and handsome boy Austin. He loves to take pictures around the house of things he builds (including mom's "angry" face). He recently built a "Lego City" inside his closet, with a sign and all. Isaac is his little shadow and he is so patient with him. If anyone is in a bad mood, he will then throw himself into the situation (sometimes hitting himself, using my bottom as a drum or making monster sounds) just to get that person to laugh. He is a great helper (unscrewing my fan apart and wiping down the dusty blades all on his own). He dreams of being in the Army "Yes sir!" He also loves holding Levi and can be found chasing me around the house with Levi in tow telling me that "he wants you!"

Mother's Day in Eagar, AZ

Father and Sons camp out during Mother's Day weekend? That would be ideal...if those fathers and sons actually spent the entire weekend away! Not this year! Jared and Pipa hauled all the boys up the mountain and were gone less than 24 hours! Carol, Dawn and I spent our Mother's Day weekend shopping for a BBQ at Wal Mart, organizing camping equipment, enjoying Pipa's biscuits 'n gravy, church together, and Dairy Queen blizzards. I also got in a 4 1/2 mile jog around the sleepy town, birds chirping and creeks flowing. The boys had a blast, like always, and I guess that is all a mother REALLY wants for Mother's Day :)
