Halloween

What a pair Jared and I made! Mr and Mrs. Bubba Hillbilly. We had a fun Halloween season. Wesley was a vampire (insisting on putting on his own make up and loved his little fangs, dressing in street clothes), Austin was a skeleton in disguise, as well as a ninja, Isaac was Batman and Tranformers, and Levi was stuck with the big tiger outfit. We enjoyed the Souder's Annual party where Wesley won Fear Factor (eating dog food, snails, worms and tofu). The Ward Trunk or Treat was delicious as Glenn Wilson and I were taste testers for the chili and dessert cook off. Lovely warm weather and lots of candy to make my tummy sick. We later gave it away to the local orthodontist (for the soldiers) and the kids made $20!

Levi 15 months

Levi still has got that tongue going for him! He CAN walk, but chooses NOT to. He loves to hang on mom and now that baby CJ is with us at home, he is extra clingy! We are all excited for his independence. I don't mind when he does get distracted with the dog food, tupperware lids or even playing the piano. He loves to sit up while the boys practice, play his own keys, reach up for music and swing his legs.  He eats fish sticks and a veggie liquado daily for lunch. He also has discovered the tetherball pole and likes to hit it!

Boys will be boys

Wrestling in underwear, taking naps dressed like Spiderman, twin shirts and masks, taking self photos, getting dirty with landscaping a garden and playing with the papason chair as a cage. Isaac enjoys playing with Levi and his brothers, when he is not asking for his Wild Krats movie on the computer or eating fish sticks for lunch. These years are flying by before he starts up kindergarten. I wub my Isaac.

Marley Park

Wesley and Austin started back up at Marley Park.  I had been volunteering at their previous charter school, where I wasn't too impressed with their academics or classrooms. I asked the boys if they would want to go back to their neighborhood school, ride their bikes, not have uniforms and be with their old friends again, etc. After thinking it over for a few days, they wanted to switch. Austin almost had to go to 2nd grade (which is the whole reason why we moved him to the charter school, to repeat 1st grade), but they let him back into 1st. They are VERY happy with their teachers (Wesley even went to a new group of students with a new teacher the following week), they love riding their bikes and I love having them home an hour later so I can prepare with piano lessons and homework. We also enjoyed the family PE night in and exercising!
