Summer days

It's been a month into summer and already lots has happened! Wesley took a week long trip to the YMCA XXX ranch for horseback riding and overnight camping with his cousin Jayden Molina. He came back with some cool flashlights and a journal (he has yet to write in, but I think he thought it was a good souvenir). Austin and Isaac are also taking their turn "camping" up in Eagar. Austin spent 3 days preparing his outfits to be dressed perfectly to work with Pipa or be a cowboy or go to church, etc. Isaac just followed his excited example. We have had a few BBQ/Swim with neighbor's at the Marley Park pool.  During one of our many "open houses," we spent a nice Sunday with Diann and Larry Kaivo, our surrogate grandparents. Levi loved learning how to swim with Grandpa Larry!
We do Summer movie passes (I usually stay in the lobby with a loud Ruby, or will drop off Wesley and Levi for a brother movie date), playdates in the mud or slip 'n slides, build forts, make big lego messes and eat lots of snacks. I have more time to nurture my eyelashes too! Some of my "art and crafts" efforts have been okay; playdough, duct tape projects or library books...others like the ice boat races were a failure.  It's plenty hot (112) and we keep hibernating.
