One of the best 4th of July's on record! Started out raining in Globe on our way up the mountain, but the weather turned cooler and green and lovely by the time we reached Eagar. The boys played non stop with their cousins; slip 'n slides, motorcycles, trampoline, fireworks, BBQ at the park, glow in the dark parade, Alpine worm racing, shooting, going to church and of course just being free in cooler weather! Jared, Joshua, Wes and I ran a 5k race sweeping the board with medals! Wes ran alongside me (I took top female runner overall!), and he placed 1st also b/c there were no other kids running that far! Jared took 3rd and Joshua 2nd. Beautiful area to race and next year we will bring even more kids along for fun! Jared and I did a few daily workouts at the middle school too, which I am so grateful to have a partner who loves to exercise like me. Everyday the boys stayed busy and creative and I am so happy we had family to hang out with and create memories.
