Friends

 

So grateful for little friends! Lots of playdates at home, or looking at Christmas lights, sharing baked goodies, playing basketball, rides in the truck, caroling with the scouts, and date nights with friends!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Austin took on the challenge of setting up the Christmas tree by himself, which he has done now since he was only 6! He loves to make sure all of the branches are in order. I throw on the rest of my amateur ornaments and try to get everyone excited to see the décor come out! Marshall was welcomed back to our family for the month. We did our FHE about service for Jesus and talked about "the gift" with the Elders. Tio Gavin was in town for Thanksgiving weekend, so the boys enjoyed playing sports with him and of course Monopoly.  It's always such a mess to set up the three big holidays in a row (Halloween, Tday and Cmas), but I get it done so that my boys can have memories!

 

Nov random

TOFW this year was once again a great getaway. I went with a few friends; Jen Williams, Rachel Costley, Brittney Cartrette, April Ashton, Lindsey Allen and Annaka Crockett. Inspirational and feel good messages that always make me feel like I can be a better person/wife/mom, etc.

Ruby has had a few chances to ride in the "Beast" (Jared's big 'ol Diesel truck), and he puts her in the front facing car seat! She is too tiny for it, but loves to look at her brothers and smile!

Austin has been learning how to tie a tie thanks to youtube, too busy of a dad on Sunday mornings and mom doesn't know how to tie one! Been working out at the YMCA with Wesley for my 6am cycle class, and sometimes there is NO ONE even in the gym.

Enjoyed a live performance from TEAM band at the Allen's backyard.

Volunteered for the boys at Marley Park, enjoying the morning bike ride to and from school. Levi loved doing Thanksgiving crafts at Ms Carrie's preschool, as well as being with his BFF Brystal.

Boys picked huge lemons from the local orchards and I took Brittney out to Kneaders for breakfast (bday)
