McGrath's Visit

It's become our tradition to have Ryan, Sandra, Max, Lucas and Mia McGrath come and stay with us over Spring Break. This year was no exception, even with Max having had a little neck injury a few days before. We filled the days with Spring Training games, shopping, pizza, drive in movie, cooking, early 6am YMCA spin class, and of course lots of baseball. We love them!

church and temple pics

With the Phx temple now only 30 min away, Jared and I are able to go do service there on a weekly basis (he has done it for 2+years, driving all the way to Mesa). Sometimes we are able to go together on a spontaneous day date, or even 6am session...but usually it is alone. Feels great to be on temple grounds and we love our time there. One perk of being in the bishopric, Jared had access to the website link to watch Stake Conference from home. So, we did! The boys were pretty entertained for the first 45 min, then it kinda went downhill. But, we got more out of it than we would've in person, wrestling them in the pews. I love to dress the same as my Ruby girl, matchy matchy! Been waiting years for this! I love to see Levi feeding her snacks at church, some for him, some for her. Jared also told everyone to match in their pink ties, so we all like to feel part of the Wilson team.

family activities

I love this pinwheel picture of our family! Our squinty eyes and happy smiles makes me happy. Jared and I still look at each other and can't believe that we are now middle aged, with wrinkles and back aches, raising all of these kids. Lucky us. We have enjoyed the outdoors during these winter AZ months of cool days and green grass. We have had plenty of pizza picnics (with the Barkers) and I got a short visit in with my friend Julie Boam. I was able to push Grandpa Lowe at Costco, which was tricky with baby Ruby on his lap  and a cart full of groceries. I am having an idea of what this will be like in a few more years with my dad when I am helping take care of him? I also worked a Phx homeshow booth for Merrill Lynch while Jared took the kids for the day. I smiled at all the strangers while Jared pushed the stroller and had fun at a baseball event.
