Easter

Easter this year was special b/c we got to have Gma and Pipa with us to share it (amidst my total mess of moving!). I continue to babysit extra kids, so I had Brissy around to help stuff eggs for Activity Days and preschool parties. I was grateful that my boys still had school so I could PACK during the day as much as possible. I had been doing lent (no sugar) for 40 days, so we broke that with an amazing PB Choc Cheesecake that we bid on at the YW auction. Yum! Boys loved it too since it was a cheat day for them. Gma helped the younger boys make some peep trains, and Ruby loved her first taste of neon heaven. Ruby got pink eye Easter morning, so that was just like a real bunny rabbit! We enjoyed watching Gen Conf via internet. We gave the boys their long awaited temple pics that we had framed and dedicated to them.  That was probably my favorite part of the holiday! Will be awesome to have them hung up someday. We also took everyone to the "fractured prune" gourmet donut shop at Westgate. Sugar comatose.

Little Ms piggy

My heart is full as I write this post about my sweet little Ms Piggy. I am sure I took more pics than I needed, but I have been waiting 11 years as mother for this moment! I am able to put little piggies in Ruby's hair! Ponytails! I only included a few here, but there were many more pics I took just to get the right angle as she kept moving. I LOVE brushing her hair every night, seeing some little curls come out and dreaming up hairbows and ribbons for the future. She is learning early on tha that a tight piggy requires a few tears~ I love her chunky thighs and round belly, her curves, her bright eyes and soft lips. We all want to just eat her up everyday and tote her around. No wonder she isn't walking yet! We all carry her around whenever she makes a noise! I miss her when she is napping, and she lets me know when she needs some "alone" time in her crib to suck on her fingers, play with her blankie and coo at her baby dolls. It's amazing how GIRL she is; babies, swings, books, shoes, hairbrush, and puppies make her so excited and she gravitates towards them all.  I love painting my toe nails the same color, having her brothers play stuffed animals with her, let her play in their 'forts,' watch her make a huge stained purple mess of blackberries, let her ride front-facing in the carseat, and getting belly tickles from Gpa Lowe. She is a well loved baby girl! 14 months old.
