Church with Pearces

For our family vacation, we went with the Pearce's and Ashton's to Destin, FL where we enjoyed a week on their awesome beaches. Before we headed out, we stayed a night in Columbus, GA where we enjoyed swimming, pizza, chatting and movies (of course chocolate chip cookies too!) Tybee Island

With the Ashton's now here with us in Savannah, Shelley and I wanted to take them to go explore Tybee Island! We are pretty good at packing up our beach picnics and supplies by now. Another gorgeous day with lots of sunshine, waves, sand and smiling kids! 

long weekends

Saturdays are the longest days for both Jared and I. He is on the doors all day long and I have a bunch of kids to entertain, especially if it's raining outside! We hit up Home Depot to do a kid workshop with a little wood truck, then more frogging, swimming, and trips downtown to see the RiverWalk and Forsythe Park.  The locals were sweet to give Ruby her rose made from palm leaves, we ate some  red crabs (really just sampled), watched taffy get stretched at the River Walk Sweet shop, and sometimes the vivant boys get to play a little spike ball on Sundays after the BBQ. 

cool dudes

My boys are so handsome. They call themselves "cool dudes." That can either mean flashing the peace sign, wearing the hat backwards, using earbuds for music, having spikey hair, a turned up collared jacket, etc. "Having swag" when they walk.
