After the Pearce's got super sunburned from yesterday, we decided to make it a non beach day. We swam in the morning, did lunch, went roller skating in the afternoon, and then after dinner another late swim. Bret took the "wives" out for ice cream down the boardwalk while the kids watched movies and had popcorn. What a night life it was! Lots of huge fish, beer, music and people. It was fun to get out without kids and to browse the shops without having to hold hands or take kids potty.

Destin Beach Day 1
Welcome to heaven! White sands, warm water, friends, food and blue skies. It was a great first day at the beach! Our big kids were thrilled with the size of the ocean waves, and the littles ones played in the sand. The nice thing about driving to the beach is that we can stay there all day long and go home when we are exhausted and starving. Cold fruit and water never tasted so good when you are out in the sun and being washed up by salt water.
Roadtrip to Destin, FL
Roadtrip to FL! We all loaded up, three families, one male, three wives and 15 kids! Destiny had a great Army base for families with condos and kitchens for us. April and I shared the two bedroom and packed our kids in there like sardines. We enjoyed a sunset at the harbor and were grateful for the hot dogs and carrots the Pearce's gave us to feed our starving kids. We did late night shopping to Walmart (later getting locked out b/c the kids didn't wake up to let us in). It is easier having a sister wife who helps with cooking, cleaning and taking care of kids with me!
