Our last few weeks in Georgia: The boys doing their school work and finishing up their work books for the summer, the beautiful savannah that we crossed on highways, Levi hiding marshmallows, Wes avoiding my music, taking the boys roller skating, beautiful peaches, Boy Scout camp, Chick Fil A day, mom getting morning sickness, Wesley discovering his name throughout the city, and and enjoying McD's b/c of the reading program rewards.

Levi 4th bday
Happy 4th bday Levy Ross(er) Wilson! It was dad's only day off, a Sunday, so we did a little breakfast with his buddies before church; Beau V, Mia T and Brystal A. The boys decorated the room with balloons, we did waffles and played preschool songs while the kids danced around. I think he felt loved. He was so tired from the morning events, he even fell asleep on me at church! Later, we went to the Sunday BBQ, shared some rice crispy treats with everyone, sang to him and then went home to do FaceTime with family. Levi is communicating so well with us now, he understands when he needs to wait for something or if he has gotten in trouble, he knows why. I love age 4 and how sweet and happy he is. He always talks about his "bruders" and loves to be with them.

Fort Mcallister
Another day trip to McCallister with the Trosts and Ashtons to show them the very interesting war site of the troops from long ago. A great playground for the kids to run around and have fun with friends, despite the HOT weather and red sweaty faces. More gratitude to those men who sacrificed so much for us, even in the same heat.

Savannah Art Museum
Our last Saturday in Savannah (we didn't know it would be our last one), we went to a family free day at the Art Museum. The kids had a nice time getting out of the heat, playing with blocks and looking at art projects. The parking is always nuts downtown, but I didn't get lost this time.

Talent Show
Trying to be creative and have something to look forward to, we put on our own little talent show with the four families; Trost, Ashton, VanZyverdens and Wilsons. We showed up at the church building unannounced, were able to get our microphone set up, kids ready with their costumes and music and excitement. My boys; Wes did a lip sync to "Friday Night," Austin did a magic show, Isaac danced to "Boyfriend," Levi was too embarrassed for his ABC song, and Ruby ran across the stage to "Shake it Up." Wes and Isaac also did an act as "the chins." Very funny! The mom's decided to show off our talents also, so we spray painted some pillow cases like Minions and did the Cuban Shuffle on stage. The kids were wild and no one was there to help corral them as the adults were on stage. We were so hot and suffocating in those bags, laughing so hard and just having a great time. All the kids did great with their talents and feeling confident on stage.

Butterfly exhibit
My first time at a Butterfly Exhibit where you can go inside a tent (in the mall lobby) and check out butterflies up close. We used some sugar coated Qtips and were able to hold onto them. Beautiful little insects.
