Spanish Fork Vivint Rodeo

Spanish Fork Rodeo, per Vivint for their employees. It was awesome! Levi still talks about the animals and rides that he rode. We all dressed up in a little cowboy gear, which the boys loved (even trying to bring pocket knives). Everything was FREE...which is amazing for fairs carnivals. No limits for what these boys could ride and do and games to play! It was hot and crowded, but as the sun went down (after a few Johnny Hot dogs), it cooled off and we hung out with the Van Zyverden's. Ruby also experienced her first outhouse. Eek. That was gross for me to squat over and help her. She did great and continues to have no accidents.

school stuff

My three handsome boys at Provo Peaks Elem. Here they are in 6th, 4th and 1st grades. For PTC, it's always so wonderful to hear how they are excelling, even Ms Butler (Isaac's teacher) said that he was the only one in her class that had NOTHING to improve on! I enjoyed doing his crazy hair like a surfer, and he got lots of fun compliments on it. Wes and Austin ran for student council, including a speech in front of the school, making posters and interviewing with the principal...and won! Wes is the 6th grade president and Austin in the 4th grade president. I was thrilled that they BOTH got in. Jared took them out for pizza at the Brick oven to celebrate (I stayed back with the little ones and a tired prego body). Goes to show that even the New Kids on the Block can win against school favs!

Jared has some adventures

Jared was able to do some MPA adventure course soon after his program began, with some of his fellow teammates behind Mt Timp. He had a great time on the zip line, climbing a pole blind folded and the jumping, and rock climbing. He then was able to go to Seattle Washington for another business weekend, where he visited with our dear friends the Kaivos. They took him around town, on the ferry, to the temple, to public market center and a famous gum wall. Lucky him!

pinewood derby

Pinewood Derby in Provo! Austin didn't have a name for his vehicle, but it was made with love and definitely without assistance (thus the crazy paint job). A little different vs the Surprise Ward in AZ that does a BIG event, but it was still nice. Austin didn't place, but hopefully had a good time. This ward has a small scout program, so they combine with 4 other wards...which makes it hard to make friends for a friendly competition.

Conference center

Now that we live in Utah, we want to take advantage of all that it has to offer, especially during General Conference in SLC. Jared woke up early with the Wes and Austin on Sat morning and they headed downtown. The lucked out and were able to get tickets to the afternoon session, as well as priesthood! The boys enjoyed being with dad (of course) and although Austin got a cat nap during the sessions, they had a great time. It was made that much better when Austin and Wes ran into their #1 BYU student, Stetson in the Visitor Center Bathroom. What a coincidence! They all sat together and I thought that was just pretty awesome.
