Christmas Day

A white Christmas! Lucky us! We woke up around 7am, did our gifts to Jesus (service) and opened up our presents one by one. Some moments were pure joy and excited, others were more simple (like when I got everyone their books). Wes: a new basketball, Austin: yo yo, Isaac: remote control car, Levi: Kevin the minion, Ruby: a play phone, Jared: slippers and winter coat, mom: pjs and boots (they were a size L in Mens, and I cried calling myself a whale...then got over it).  We took the boys sledding at Rock Canyon, more crying from Ruby, but I even went down one time (that was scary but great!). We later took the everyone to see Transylvannia II at the theatre, and although Ruby asked to go poop 4 x's, overall she did great. Tio Gavin met up with us for a few hours in the eve for dinner and the boys were happy to show him everything.

Christmas Eve/Bethlehem

We were invited by our bishop Sorensen to attend "Bethlehem" at their carriage house Christmas Eve. I was really happy to have somewhere to go, especially since we had no plans. We dressed up and re-enacted what it might have been like when Mary and Joseph were out looking for the Inn. It was intimate and special and we all felt the sweet spirit being there. Afterwards we opened up "sibling" gifts where some kids were happy and others were obviously NOT.

First Snow

I loved seeing Levi cuddled up just watching the snow fall down. Provo finally got some snow! Austin and Wes took advantage of it and shoved snow (earning together almost $100 in two days!) I took a pic of Levi trying to use his scooter in the snow, what a cute carrier. The kids enjoyed making a snowman in the front yard, Ruby not so sure about how cold everything was. Isaac and Austin were CRAZY playing in their undies! What silly boys! Sledding was really fun, once we got everyone bundled up and borrowed some sleds. Everyone loved the sledding, except for Ruby who cried for her blankie the whole time and wanted to be held.
