Such a fun day! We played hookie from the WW games and went out to see the big Apple. We made friends with Clay KillPatrick and Logan Tash b/c we both missed the train heading into the city. So, we took the Uber taxi and shared the ride cost. It was just amazing being there with all the people, the lights, the skyscrapers, the 911 memorial (heart breaking), Trinity Cathedral, shopped at TJMaxx, enjoyed some NY pizza by the slice, I loved the romantic Brooklyn Bridge, hit the financial district for Jared with Wall st and the Bull, and then decided to stay to see Times Square at midnight, all while pushing a baby stroller up and down the subway! Rex got lots of attention b/c it's not common to see a baby so little out on the streets being a tourist. We walked so much that first day! I loved all of it, holding hands with Jared, nursing the baby in the subway, people watching, and being spontaneous with all of it. We had to rush back to get the NJ Transit to the NY train, then to the hotel shuttle...but missed it! So, we once again used the Uber (with Clay and Logan who were equally exhausted) and arrived at the hotel way too late. Rex was a good sport!

Wounded Warrior Part 1
Jared and I took the kids to AZ on a Monday, leaving after his BYU class to drop them off with the Wilson's. We then headed out Tues at 5am for NYC! It was great knowing that my boys were happy with their cousins and entertained. I was so excited to have some time with Jared and baby Rex, to feel like Adrienne vs mom. It was cool seeing the crop circles out in the fields and also that first vision of the NYC skyline. That was cool! We arrived, took a shuttle, took a bus and then arrived to the hotel where we saw Gavin waiting for us. That was super cool seeing him amongst all the wounded warriors where he fit right in. Such pride and honor being with these heroes! 6/13/16

Provo Rocks
We love living in Provo. ProvoRocks! We have had more people visiting us this summer, as a pit stop on their vacations, and I have loved it! We take them around the areas in our neighborhood that we love; the tree house, temple, hiking the Y, Provo Bakery, concerts, carnivals, BYU events, parks, Downtown boutiques, etc. It's really great weather and fun to show off the area. I am happy to be living here!
