punctual

I have made a new commitment to myself and others.

WE WILL BE ON TIME.

No more running around 5 min. late.

I want to be respectful of others and to myself.

Now...if only I could get my kids on board in 7am hour before school. It's a mad dash to get them loaded up into the car well fed, hair brushed, with a scripture in their head (or at least mom makes an effort to have that happen in between their fighting during breakfast) and a kiss on their cheek.

I am committed and happy to say that we have been on time to MOST things for 2 weeks!

Abuela's Visit

My dear mama came for her annual visit to the USA, from Argentina. I kept her busy! We did many things in my hectic run around with kiddos; sewing projects (a canopy cover for the carseat and blankets), babysat in the temple foyer, potty trained Isaac, coloring her hair, pilates in the living room, playdates at McD's, Movie night with the girls (to see, "The Help"), blessed baby Levi, FHE and nightly dinners (she made some yummy crockpot dishes and an Argentine omelet), going to the gym, lunch with Monica, church services and enrichments, etc.

She spent 3 weeks with me in AZ and 3 weeks in UT doing family history work and visiting friends/family. She was loved and missed by everyone.

I sure wish she would just move in with me! I loved having another female around, especially with her warm embraces with Levi, her awareness to step in and clean up a spill, her willingness to let me get out of the house to run errands ALONE, and of course just having someone to converse with at 1am while I am up with Levi (and she would be uploading pics on her laptop). (There are more pics of Abu's visit in older posts).

I love you mom! I miss you already.

Chopping Wood

We headed up the mountain to Eagar, AZ for a Wilson family weekend...chopping wood! I did not have any idea what that really meant, so morning of, I was dressed up with earrings and make up. I should know by now to NOT go up to Round Valley with those expectations. It is "camping" when we are up there, and this was no exception.

The boys had a blast. Lots of mud, hard labor, playing with cousins, staying up late eating milk shakes with pipa and not getting enough sleep. Levi stayed asleep in the car or on my lap, which was perfect since it was a hands on project. Potty training for Isaac was not successful, but we did our best in the open air.

The weather was perfect, especially up in the forests where we got the wood.

After the weekend was over, we spent the day swimming back at our house and celebrating the "summer birthdays" for the cousins. We even got a family picture with EVERYONE!
