Ruby turns one!

Sweet Ruby Joy is a big girl now! I was busy sanding down the kitchen table, then the Elders also came over, but we were able to have some cake and ice cream for her birthday. She touched the frosting and immediately put the pink goo into her mouth. Her big bright eyes were asking us if it was okay to eat it and why was it so squishy!  She is cruising around, climbing onto people, drinking dad's liquados, loves bath time with her brother Levi, was NOT interested in her doll I bought her, and loves to eat! She is pretty chill and content being with anyone in her family and we all adore her.

Dates with the kids! Ms Ruby and I were able to go on a luncheon together for the first time, smoothies and sandwiches. She had a good time and is learning how to drink from a straw. I have been driving the big white beast Ford truck where she sits and talks with us up front.  My dad and I go on dates frequently to Cafe Rio, Nick's Diner or the movies. He bought me a coach handbag which I LOVE too.  Isaac had been begging me and Jared to take him on a date, so we took him! He chose Sonic where he shared fries with his sister Ruby. It is always fun to get the kids alone and to hopefully make them feel special. 

Ruby One Year Pics

Went to to a field with some cows and orchards and snapped a few pics of Ms Ruby Joy. It was tricky b/c she is not walking yet and there were lots of cow pies and thorns everywhere. Even did a costume change! Lindsey Allen helped me and we took pics of her boy Tyce as well.  She is kind of a serious "cat" as I call her, it takes a lot for her to even grin! But, her eyes were bright and she looks awesome.
