Austin

Austin started his own landscaping business knocking on doors to find clients. He is such a smart boy and is learning some good skills with how to use tools and manage his money. He went and enjoyed General Conference with Abu, Wes and his dad. He went on a date with Jared and I to go see a movie and eat some fro yo. He earned his weeblo scout award in this new scout troop and he was excited to earn those stripes. Track for Provo Rec has also been awesome for him and challenging. He enjoys running with his dad in the mornings and can keep up with him really well, so it's been fun to watch him run and compete.

Random April

We had a Mexican themed Girls Night Out, and it was delish! I enjoyed having a night where I could leave the baby and feel like Adrienne vs mom for a bit. We cooked and did everything inside a culinary kitchen, so it was very hands on and intimate. My mom has recently moved to Springville, UT. So, we have made a few visits to see the "farm" in her neighbhorhood, which is really cool! A kangaroo, all types of horses and birds, pigs, cows, etc. The kids have enjoyed seeing them up close. I got accepted to the BYU EMPA program, after just deciding a few weeks prior that this is something I could also pursue. My good friend Jenn Platt has been very supportive, we also snuck out to watch a concert with the Education Week on our own....grateful to have a break from our babies and toddlers for a few hours. She is someone I admire for education and insights and I love that our kids also are similar ages!

baby Lady Ruby

Ruby is so fun! Just looking at these pics reminds me of her spunky personality, how stubborn and outgoing she can be. Her hair is curly and wild, and it goes well with her moods. Often she just needs to sit down and cry things out, or she can start laughing minutes later saying things are "silly."  She continues to love her babeee, follow mom around, get into messes and be independent. She selected a book at the library, "Little Miss Bossy." Very appropriate. We do what she wants, when she wants it, or else we have meltdowns and a loud consequence. The brothers love her, tease her, carry her around by her feet, and she is holding her own!
