Unpacked

Grateful list (today I had to stretch my imagination a bit)
Day #13

*As I was packing up April Ashton's house, I was grateful that I am DONE packing (for now), settled into my little home, de-cluttered and organized.
*Banana's that are only .39 lb, so I can freeze them for liquados.
*Cool night breezes that keep my kids comfortable.
*Kid shampoo for my boys to use that comes in a pump for their easy access (I love that they can each take a shower by themselves and do a good job!)
*A 7:00pm bedtime for all three boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time for mama to relax...

Jared later wrote:
So not too many comments. I thought I would take a look at my family one last time before I hit the sack. I miss you very very much. I'm sad to read about my baby boy's developments and know that I am not there to enjoy them. I sure do appreciate you so very much...all you hard work, dedication, diligence with keeping things in order and up to our standard, for raising these 3 wonderful boys on your own each week, and for always remembering me. I miss you and love you. I'll see you tomorrow. -Jay

Isaac is getting old!

Just a note on a few things Isaac is accomplishing at almost 10 months old:

Devoured his first O-R-E-Oreo!
Is a quiet baby! Except for his usual fussiness, crying or laughing, he is very low key.
Standing up onto furniture, cruising
Sticks his tongue out
Sucks in his bottom lip, as well as mama's chin (more like gnawing!)
Two 45 min. naps daily (that is it!)
Stares at graham crackers, rotates them in his hands, and then flaps his arms around before eating them slowly
Climbs up and down stairs
Can get into a sitting position from his belly.
Stands up in crib facing the wall and cries when he wakes up from nap. Turn around sweetie!
Recognizes when his name is being called
Shakes his head, "No!" when he doesn't want any more food (although I shove it in anyway!)
Sleeps from 6:30-7pm, wakes up between 4-5am to eat, and then up again at 7am. I plan on weaning him after our trip to Argentina next month. I am sure I will need to nurse him often throughout the travel and random places to sleep.
He has the cutest thigh rolls and solid bootie. I also love how he tucks his feet under his legs when he is kneeling or about to stand up.
Loves to cuddle, be held (especially by dad and Grandpa Lowe), nurse and kiss.

Grateful list:
Day #12

*Rubber gloves so that I don't have to touch the nasty germs on my boys' toilets...I always hold my breath when I am scrubbing off those spots, splatters and stains....gross.
*Green eyeshadow, I just like to wear it!
* My new red/orange/brown striped kitchen rug.
* www.hulu.com for my tv shows; The Biggest Loser, Supernanny, Modern Family, The Office

Chocolate chip cookies

Grateful list:
Day #11

*Mormon messages on Youtube.com that make me feel His love and hope.
*Sweating at the gym, I love those natural high endorphins...and I love teaching, "On the ball."
*Leslie's chocolate chip cookies that are BETTER than Mrs. Fields
*Cavity-free check ups for the entire Wilson family (excluding Isaac who is about to pop out a top tooth). The boys loved the "treasure box," bubble gum flavored fluoride and April Ashton!
*Veterans, namely my dad and brother who in their own way helped support our USA.

Fresh Air

Grateful list:

Day #10
*My preschool teacher was good enough to let me pick up Austin late so I could drop Jared off to the airport.
*Made a new friend at t-ball practice, Jessica.
*Austin's new bike (thanks Costco) that gives him confidence to go around the block happily.
*Isaac's stroller that contained him while at t-ball practice, and his sleeper that kept him warm from the wet grass.
*Wireless internet that allows me to type this while sitting on my couch!
*Whole wheat pizza

Day #9
*Late night Costco trip that got us some new queen size sheets (have yet to put them on), fruit leather, chocolate protein powder and pillows.
*Family pictures were a success, despite my frazzled attitude towards being 45 min. late. Jared did the boys' hair so handsome and I really liked our coordinating outfits.
* My wheat grinder that provides me with yummy fresh whole wheat bread.
*My big bottle of bright blue hair gel, "Hard up," that keeps in my boys' spikes really well.
*$1 Red Box....even if the movie was lame-o (don't even want to mention it), it is always nice to snuggle up on the couch for a cheap date
*FHE in the car! The kids were stuck listening to us talk about testimonies and sing songs.

Bike ride

Grateful list Day #8

*Late night bike ride with Wrangler to Leslie's house for a can of whoopin' cream. So fun! Wrangler doesn't get enough exercise, and it was great to see him galloping in front of me as we rode.
*Chicken fajitas, homemade by chef Jared
*Cool breezes outside to sleep with the windows open
*Reading my "family book" and childhood letters with my dad at the kitchen table.
*Puppies at cousin Tim's house
