Without friends to help out, moves would be impossible for our large family. Brittney Cartrette was amazing with her service, happy attitude and willingness. From watching my boys, to bringing me caffeine, to helping me clean at midnight...she was amazing. I was so exhausted and tired by day #4 of getting things ready, and emotional breakdowns did occur. She just stepped in with a solid hug and seemed to carry my burden with me. I love her and I hope she will come to Eagar in August to visit us! Bryonna White was another angel. She offered up her house the last night we were around; taking my boys to and from baseball games, serving us dinner, helping us sleep well (including with movies, pizza and cookies), was generous, happy and supportive. I was so grateful to use her washer/dryer for my 1 outfit per child that we kept re-washing as we transitioned to GA. I stayed two nights with her and we both just kept holding onto as many memories as we could. I spent my last Saturday with April Ashton, going around the soccer fields as my truck was worked on and adjusted before our long drive. She will be joining us in Savannah later this summer, so I am excited about that. Lindsey Barker gave me a great goodbye travel bag, and her hubby helped pack up the trunk with his master skills. Austin also had one last playdate with his BFF Kaedon and Marilyn. It was just crazy!

baseball season ends early
With our move, we had to pull the boys out of baseball season early. I was sad about it, but the coaches understood and the boys were willing to do it too. Wes team ended up taking the championship for the season! How about that! Coach Schad said that Wes had a big influence on the team and they did as well as they did b/c of him. Austin also got the team gold ball on their last game (the night we actually moved). I couldn't make their games, even Gpa Lowe couldn't find their fields, but they finished strong and excited with their efforts. The weather in AZ can't be beat during the spring nights and we loved being outside.

Arianne Pearce
Ruby and I made our first girls trip on a plane to visit Arianne Pearce in Columbus, GA. It was planned months ago and just ironic that two weeks later, my entire family would be moving to GA! So, we boarded up a plane, the benadryl I planned for Ruby worked on the way to the airport vs on the flight (yikes!) NO one wanted to make eye contact with me as I went down the aisles looking for a spot on the plane. I get it, I wouldn't want to be by a baby either... I sat by two grandmas and they were nice enough. Georgia sure is beautiful! The green trees, the moisture, the Spanish moss, the shade! Arianne's kids were so fun to see, especially after 5 years. They sure have grown! She took me on an amazing bike trail ride, Ruby fell asleep and didn't love it. We had yummy cupcakes afterwards and lunch together. She is like my heart beat, love having her nearby. We ate too many donuts, had a sister wives Sushi date, went to soccer games, saw her be the YW pres teach a lesson, stayed up too late every night talking and just enjoyed our visit!
