Visit from McGraths

We had our 2nd annual visit from Ryan, Sandra, Max, Lucas and Mia McGrath from El Paso, TX this year during their Spring Break.  Ryan loves baseball, so it was convenient that Wesley and Austin both had their coach pitch/kid pitch games the same week. He treated the kids with snacks and they loved playing together in the grass. We took them swimming, attended the big YW Hoedown fundraiser and also went on a double date to get some pizza. Sandra showered us with her usual nurturing love and attention, as well as the DoTerra oils. The kids also got along great, especially now that they are older and communicate well.

Perks at Merrill Lynch

Jared asked me to help him run a booth at the Phx Women's Expo for Merrill Lynch. We got Gpa Lowe to watch the older 3 boys (he took them to Wesley's bball game, Peter Piper Pizza, swimming and oversaw their chores! What a wonderful gpa!), and Levi went to a neighbor. We had a very successful day with over 200 people entering their info to win the gift bags/ receive info from ML. Jared and I work well together. I am the more bubbly and outgoing one, and he is the more serious/ informative. Together we make a good team.  I had memories of my Homeshow days where I worked last year and used some of those same techniques to attract people over. Next year I want to be able to walk around and really enjoy all of the booths that they had all for women!
ML has also provided other "dates" for us where we went to the AirShow and had finger foods while mingling with clients. We ate at the Yardhouse and also went to a DiamondBacks game where we sat on the 3rd row behind home plate during Spring Training. That was awesome! I could appreciate the crack of the bat, all of the people wanting autographs and seeing the players up close. Now that is what I call a good game!

St Patty's Day

Our boys are believers in the Leprechaun! I jumped on pinterest and got some ideas for the big morning. I was a little ill prepared b/c I didn't have my Lucky Charms or green clothing for gifts like last year. But, I think we still made it special. Green toilet, little footprints, a special saying on the bathroom mirror, green waffles with caramel syrup, and a treasure hunt to find the "pot o' gold" with $ at the end of the rainbow. I am enjoying these special years!

Helpers in the kitchen

I have many "helpers" in the kitchen. Here are some pics of Levi feeding himself cereal. He sometimes uses the spoon, but mostly uses his hand to dip into the milk and make a huge mess!Levi is a CLIMBER. He insists on standing, crawling, climbing and sitting on the kitchen counter ALL DAY LONG. If he is crying, I simply plop him up on the counter and he feels better. He has been next to me while I cook dinner, looking through the spice cabinet, and even while I type in here he will go through the medicine. Baking bread is also a lot of "fun" for my boys. They love to sit next to me, help pour the flour and turn on the Bosch. We all love the raw bread dough!  The older boys help shape some of my dinner rolls, I took some pics of the elephant and Mr. Triangle that they created. We all love the homemade cinnamon rolls, although I do not like the huge mess it makes! My life revolves around food, cooking and my boys. It's a good thing.
