Kids love St Patrick's Day! It gets tricky each year b/c my boys are more aware of these holidays. I have been to extra sneaky to hide things, and this year was challenging b/c we had been in Eagar all weekend long prior to this fake holiday. Loaded up a "pot of gold" with fruit loops, gum, dominoes, green tshirts, sugar free chocolate and golden coins. The treasure hunt was simple with post it notes around my house, letting the boys take turns to find the clues and try not to run each other over (and letting the littles have a turn too!). What a lucky mom I am to have such sweet kids to do fun things for and to make memories, no matter where we live. My favorite part was watching Austin prepare some eggs for himself and his sister Ruby, as she hung onto his legs in the kitchen.
