Spring Break was full of little friends! I was able to have three extra kids with us all week long, running from parks to the YMCA to dirty diapers, naps, messes and lunch time. I often felt like I was driving a school bus in the big white truck with all the kids stuffed inside. We bought an Armadad (selling the Sequoia b/c we wanted 8 vs 7 seats), but was stuck at a car wash in Buckeye as they were cleaning out the dog hair from the previous owner. I didn't know I would have 4 kids in tow with me for 2 hours there, during lunch and nap time! It was not ideal, but we got through it...and made a huge mess at that store. It will be nice when Ruby decides to walk and won't be as dirty! But, in the meantime, I am loving her leggings. So grateful I can be at home with these sweet children, even if I live in dirty messes and constant whining's all day long.

Austin, Colorado Rockies
Baseball season is here and you were SO excited that you set up your uniform the night before, socks included. I love seeing your creativity with outfits. You love hitting the ball, often telling me how fast you can run to each base. At one practice you had to do 5 push ups if you dropped the ball, and you told me, "I went ahead and just did 50." I know your coach and teammates were impressed with that! Swimming with the Kaivo's was fun this month, and morning snuggles with your sister and mom. You continue to be a help with the "littles" in our family, especially during Spring Break. I can count on you to play with Ruby, help calm down Levi and spend time with Isaac as needed. So grateful for your motivation to get things done first thing in the morning and taking responsibility for yourself.

Baseball Wes, Oakland Athletics
Baseball season is here, your favorite! You are now pitching, playing short stop and wishing in your heart you could play catcher. We enjoy watching your games (7:30 til 9:30pm, late for a school night!) and you often hit a homerun! Thank you for the flowers you sometimes bring me afterschool, often demanding that I "close your eyes!" in which you brighten up my day! I had a laugh as you wrote out everyone's chores for a certain Saturday: Levi and Ruby had to "poop, eat, sleep." Always making sure we all have our duties well written out, just like I do. That picture I took of us swimming makes me realize how BIG you are becoming! Your dad and I are amazed at what a handsome, responsible and smart man you are becoming. Grateful that your "wrestling scar" on your cheek is now becoming less visible, with Vitamin E and sunscreen applied daily.

Sir Isaac
I had to take a few pics of Isaac in his favorite colors and outfit this month. Weekly he comes down trying to wear the same plaid/gym short/long socks combo, and this time he even included his hat and sunglasses. We always make him go back upstairs and change. He also loved trying on my red high heels b/c they matched! He still has a great set of muscles, and he was cute wearing mom's shower cap! I have been subbing in primary for the last few weeks and took a quick picture of sharing time while you were Moses, learning the song "Follow the prophet." I love seeing you take care of your sweet "roommate" Ruby, as she climbs the stairs, or reading books with her early in the am. Swimming with Gpa Larry and Grandma Di Kaivo is always fun. You beg to wrestle or play football everyday and even went with dad to tear down a homeshow in Phx at the Cardinal stadium.
